99 fun things

My friend over at Pink Lemonade Boutique Bags recently ran a blog post that lists 99 possible things to do this year. While I mentioned in my previous post I’m not one for resolutions, this is fun little exercise, the best part of which was that I didn’t need to come up with the 99 things! (I have my own personal list I’d like to focus on for the year, but I’m only on number 42.) So while I continue to expand my list, here is the premade list with the items I’ve completed in bold.

Excellent. There are definitely a few items from this list I will ‘borrow’ for my 100 Accomplishments for 2009. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Caroline Says:

Yes, I think I could take a few from the list above and add to my personal list also. And there are a few above that I’d rather NOT experience (break a bone; food poisoning. I know. Call me nutty.), and a few I’d likely not seek out (bungee jumping; law suit). The rest, never say ‘never’ I guess.

Two I’m willing to avoid: being transported in an ambulance and hitchhiking. Neither of these sound particularly fun or soothing to my inner peace. Also: “killed and prepared an animal for eating.” YIKES!! I’m sure the economy will turn around before we get to that, right?

Three additional happier ideas: swimming with dolphins, playing with a litter of puppies/kittens (allergy-permitting), and indulging in a full menu of treatments at a day spa.

Ummm… some of those things are not really “fun” - been fired from a job, for example. :)

But I would love to go to a destination spa for a week.

  5. Caroline Says:

Ha ha! You are right, FatFighter! SEVERAL of those activities are NOT fun. ;-) Probably should be retitled: 99 Things. But looking through the list is fun though.
